Review, Swatch + Dupes | Wet’n’Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick Collection Part 1 - Brights and Bolds

Hello everyone! Today I am going to share with you the first part of my wet’n’wild lipstick collection - the brights and the bold shades. I order all of my American cosmetics from the site ‘beautyjoint.com’ and this line costs $2.75 per lipstick which translates to roughly £1.85 a lipstick - very budget friendly!

The finishes aren’t all matte, I would say they’re a mix with some of them being more on the satin side but each of them very pigmented which is one the best things about them! The packaging is what you would expect for such an affordable line and its kind of annoying how the lipstick gets in the lid no matter how careful you are as you can’t wind them all down. Irritating but I can excuse it for the price! The shape of the bullet isn’t perfect as its pretty much a slanted circle so with bright shades a lip brush can be handy, although I usually just apply a little at a time to avoid messy application.
I also like how they have the name on the bottom of the lipstick and that you can see the shade at the top unlike lipsticks in opaque packaging. In general they last about 3-4 hours before I have to reapply. Pretty standard for a lipstick of this finish but much better than those super creamy formulas which don’t stay put for more than an hour.If you want an even longer application then apply it, blot and then apply again which will prolong the wear time.
I’m going to run through the shades, any dupes I have found courtesy of the internet to more expensive lipsticks and the finish of each lipstick too ^_^ It’s always handy to pick of a dupe of a £15+ lipstick to see if you really like the shade on your own skintone before splashing the cash, especially in the UK as you can’t return cosmetics!

1.Purty Persimmon / 970
The most flattering orange/red shade I have tried and a must have for anyone with tanned skin because this colour compliments the warmth in our skins so well! For someone who loves the neutral shades this is just on the verge of being a bit TOO bright - but for those of you who enjoy bright shades pick this beauty up. It applies smoothly without dragging on the lips and its most definitely a satin finish and very much non-drying. I would only really wear this in the summer time as it is rather loud and vibrant but I’m glad I finally found an orange shade which really pops and sits well with my skintone. Oh and a word of warning - this shade transfers quite a bit so carry it around when wearing it.

2. Smokin’ Hot Pink / 905D
This is a medium/hot pink shade which actually leans on the very red side in certain lights. I have a pretty love/hate relationship with it because sometimes I feel like it sits well with my warm skintone and other times it looks a little tacky?? The formula of this shade is more matte and therefore a little drying on the lips but it does last longer on the lips, around 5 hours. It’s essential to prep by exfoliating and putting on lipbalm a while before hand. Again this is another summer funtime shade for me, I couldn’t get away with wearing it to work nor would I feel that comfortable wearing it to uni. My personal favourite way of wearing this is layered with a deeper lipstick and because of that I don’t think I will be repurchasing this as it just hasn’t ticked enough boxes for me.

3. Stoplight Red / 911D
The most beautiful medium red shade I have come across or otherwise known as ‘hollywood red’. Its a red shade that isn’t blue-toned or orange. Personally I find that deeper reds suit my medium skintone more but I can still pull off this shade. The formula is less matte than smokin hot pink and so I do recommend using a lip liner to properly define the lips so it doesn’t smudge around the edges as its such a vibrant colour. It has a touch of pink in it when swatched but it comes across as a true red on the lips. I think this is one of the most universal shades of the line and it will really suit all skintones.

4. Sugar Plum Fairy / 908C
I ADORE this shade, a beautiful and flattering purple with a slight pink tone. Its a fun shade to wear and I imagine it suits many skintones, I know it looks stunning of light/medium skin especially! Again the pigmentation is fabulous, one swipe is all you need to get a lovely even application and it fades beautifully too. It is matte but not drying and very comfortable to wear on the lips. I don’t need a lipliner to wear it and it lasts at least 5 hours on the lips which is impressive (even with eating).  When it does fade it leaves a lovely lighter stainFor the price I seriously recommend everyone pick this beauty up, you can’t get much better than this beauty.

5. Cherry Bomb / 918D
One of the darkest lipsticks in my collection and surprisingly its really flattering too. It makes my lips look fuller and on me the shade comes off as a deep burgundy shade. It has a slight blue undertone which makes my lips look whiter -always a good thing and it has just the right amount of vampyness to it. I love mixing this with Sugar Plum Fairy but both shades are beautiful alone. It’s pretty matte so be sure to prep the lips before application! I also like tapping this gently against the lips to sheer out the deep colour making it a little more wearable for normal situations. Also this one really does stain the lips properly which I don’t mind as its quite a flattering colour, just apply some balm on top and you’re good to go.

In my experience I have found that none of these shades bleed or fade unevenly (unless you haven’t prepped your lips for the drier ones of course) and for the price the quality is outstanding! Why spend £20 on a bright lipstick you’ll hardly wear when you have the opportunity to pick one from this range which will deliver the same if not better pigmentation, without burning a hole in your bank account...seriously if you’re looking for a bright or everyday lipstick for a decent price - look no further!
Part 2 will be the lighter and neutral shades, some of my absolute favourite in my whole collection and that will probably be up in a week or so. Also I will have more swatches on my IG @theblushinggiraffe in a couple of days so you can see how they look on my skintone ^_^

Current Favourite Lip Combo

Hey guys! A quick post today on my current most reached for lip products today. These three together have been my favourite ‘lip cocktail’ and they’ve been in my makeup bag for two months straight. Personally I dislike spending a lot of money on lip products, I think the drugstore is excellent in that department, so these are all affordable you’ll be pleased to know ^_^ I’ve been loving a brown/pinkish lip of late, but I also can’t resist a bit of mauve either, mixing it all up!

Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in Tiramisu

I’ve already professed my love for for the 1000 kisses lip liner range with my review of the shade Spice read here, and Tiramisu is the same wonderful formula, creamy yet still defining. Tiramisu is a mix of orange and brown, used lightly it can subtly add shape and definition, however you can get a browner colour by layer it up a little.

 

Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick 03

I always used to think this was a light pink, but it actually has a tiny touch of peach too. Alone this doesn’t look great on my lips, I can just about get away with it, but it does look like a bit too pale and ghostly. For lighter skintones this’ll be an amazing nude shade! Anyways the formula of this is creamy, pigmented and on top of the lip liner it adds a bit of omph to the whole neutral tiramisu affair.

And the final part of my current lip favourites is something I’ve loved since I bought it. Its not really matte, its more of a cream finish and its a lovely slightly mauvish pink tone which feels so soft on the lips, and just tones down the orange/brown a little! I also like wearing this on top of Sleek’s Matte Me in Birthday suit, again to tone down the darkness there. Really affordable and one of my most used lip products ever, I need more and you should try them too, they’re luvlehhh!

Review | Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick 08

Hello! Yet another lip product review for you today - this time a cheaper one that the likes of NARS! Rimmel’s lipsticks are fantastic, and the lasting finish range, by Kate Moss (£5.49) are some of the best in the whole drugstore. I own 5 from the range, but the one I haven’t been able to put down for several months is the shade 08. The packaging for this range is simple, sturdy and with Kate’s signature on the lid and the shade number and colour at the bottom of the lipstick.

The formula is lovely and creamy, it glides on the lips and does a good job of not accentuating any dry bits. I find this the kind of lipstick that is fuss free and its kinda like a ‘grab and go’ lippie.  You don’t need to really make sure they’re prepped like you would with matte lips, and I don’t find this drying after it has faded away. That’s probably the main reason why this has lived in my makeup bag and gone about with me everywhere for quite a while!  The downside is that despite the name, it’s not exactly long lasting. I get about 3 and a half hours of wear from this before I need to reapply. For the shade and formula, plus how easy it is to reapply I can forgive the lasting power - it’s just a shame they claim it to be longlasting!

The colour itself is a stunning dusty rosy pink with a tinge of mauve and looks so flattering on warm skintones, as well as cool! It’s just beautifully flattering and the kind of shade that works no matter the occasion. It’s also the kinda lipstick that I can just pull out and swipe on just before work, uni or a coffee with a friend - and I don’t even need a mirror.

Final Verdict:

Rating: 9

Pros: A gorgeous everyday mauvy rose colour, universally flattering, creamy, non-drying, affordable, functional sturdy packaging, pigmented.

Cons: Not really all that long lasting. But that’s about it, I couldn’t ask for more from a lippie of this price.

Repurchase? Yes!

Review | NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bahama

Hey ladies! Today I’m going to be reviewing my first ever NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (£18) link. These pencils have so much hype online and they’re a cult product, plus its NARS so you can be sure I had high expectations! As usual I love the packaging, simple, functional and so very Narsissist with the colour at the end making it easy to distinguish from the rest (...that’ll be in my collection come May mwahahaa). Its a chubby pencil, comfortable to hold and not retractable - still need to buy their pencil sharpener, ehh.
Formula: What makes these so special is that although they’re pencils, they’re as creamy as you can get in this form. This pencil doesn’t dry out my lips and it doesn’t ‘set’ on the lips like a hard mask either. It’s the most comfortable, long wearing matte formula that I own so I totally understand why it gets so much hype. The only thing you have to remember though is to exfoliate and balm the lips well before. The word Velvet is right! Whilst it doesn’t DRY the lips out, it does highlight the dry bits and no-one really likes that look, so do the prep and it’ll be well worth it.
Colour: This shade is very similar to that dark mauvey Kylie Jenner look everyone was obsessed with. Its a pink and brown mixed together, with a dash of mauve. On my lips the brown comes through more than the pink and its a shade that somehow manages to pull my whole face together without any effort.  I like wearing this alone, however sometimes I want to make it a little lighter and mixing it with Rimmel’s lip liner in spice reviewed here is probably my favourite way to wear it.


Price: The only thing that makes me sad about this pencil is the price. Don’t get me wrong, its the best lip pencil I’ve ever tried and so worth a high price tag but not too friendly for a student budget!  I still prefer to hold out and wait for the ASOS sales when I can pick it up for 20% off!
It’s easy to reapply, doesn’t fade patchy and the colour is super versatile ^_^

Final Verdict:

Rating: 9
Pros: The colour looks sophisticated, the packaging is great, it’s as creamy and non-drying as a lip pencil can get. It’s long lasting, it doesn’t fade or flake and it has wonderful pigmentation. Reapplication is seamless.
Cons: None of my jumbo sharpeners seem to fit so it looks like I’ll have to purchase the official one. Also if you haven’t prepped the lips beforehand, dryness will stand out.
Repurchase?  Yes, I love the colour and everything else about it. Just have to wait till a nice 20% off sale of course!

Review | Rimmel London 1000 Kisses lipliner in ‘Spice’

Lip-liners are the THING this year aren’t they?? Almost every single blogger and YouTuber I’ve come across has raved about at least one, especially since Kylie Jenner’s selfies took the world by storm. Personally I have always loved one lipliner even before the craze began, and today I’m going to share it with you all!

Rimmel have a decent range of lipliners, in both their ‘1000 kisses’ and their ‘exaggerate’ line. I own at least 7, but Spice is my oldest and most loved liner to date. In fact I would go as far as saying it’s a HG *gasps....applause* This is my perfect my-lips-but better with a touch more pink to it if used lightly, but more brown if applied heavily.  In other words probably a shade or two darker than my natural lip colour. The formula of the pencil is spot on in my opinion, it is firm enough to properly define the lips, yet creamy/soft enough to fill in your whole lip without a lot of effort involved. You don’t have to drag it on but of course with any pencil exfoliation and balm is recommended before hand.

 

It lasts a really long time and always prolongs any lipstick wear I choose to pop onto. I urge my fellow olive skinned ladies to pick this up!! You will not be disappointed - but to be honest I’ve seen women of all skin-tones rave about this beauty and at only £2.99 a pop it’s so so affordable!

My favourite thing about this apart from the colour is how versatile it is, like I said before when applied lightly it’s perfect for a pink lipstick/alone, but I can build the colour up for a deeper slightly sophisticated colour too!

Again Rimmel have provided me with quality makeup for an incredible price, this pencil will forever be in my collection and it just so easy to apply and wear without worrying about it moving, smudging or fading quickly. What I appreciate so much about these darker nude shades is how they somehow make you look effortlessly put together in a couple of minutes.

Final Verdict:

Rating: 9

Pros: This colour can be worn light or dark, alone, with lipstick or with gloss. It is so flattering on many skintones, especially olive skintones. The pencil is soft enough to use all over the lips, but it can easily define the lips too. Long lasting and good pigmentation. The price is phenomenal!

Cons: A downside is probably the fact that you have to sharpen it, but I really like the pencil format as it feels more sturdy to me than some of those twistable ones. Also it’s a little drying/not nice looking if lips aren’t prepped.

Repurchase?  100% I will! This is my favourite shade, formulation and the kind of lip product I can throw on and not worry about - and those kinds are gems!

Review | Rimmel London 1000 Kisses lipliner in ‘Spice’

Almost every single blogger and YouTuber I’ve come across has raved about at least one, especially since Kylie Jenner’s selfies took the world by storm. Personally I have always loved one lipliner even before the craze began, and today I’m going to share it with you all!

I am SO excited to writing this review! In fact I don’t think I’ve been this excited to review a lip product ever, because quite honestly Rimmel have blown me away! First things first the Rimmel Provocalips lip colours are available 8 shades and cost £6.99 each,which is a complete bargain for how well they deliver.

The Provocalips are essentially a matte liquid lipstick on one end with a balm type of sealer product on the other end. I picked up the shade ‘Make Your Move’ and I honestly don’t think there could be a more ME shade out there! The colour is PERFECT, it’s a brown toned rose mixed with mauve. A darker MLBB, and it looks so effortless and classy. It also had the ability to some how pull my whole face together at 7:30am on a Tuesday morning when I’m on the train and I want nothing more than to be back in bed!

I don’t know what it is about these somewhat 90’s lip shades, but they are floating my boat like no tomorrow, and I have not used any other lip product since I bought this!

If you’ve been a reader for a while you will be aware that I have a large collection of lipsticks, glosses, balms etc. which don’t get used because to be quite honest with you I cannot be bother to keep up with them! I hate retouching makeup, it’s a pain and time consuming and so I’d much rather just apply a clear balm then deal with feathering and fading and moving about etc;.

The provocalips are the perfect solution to my problem, I apply it at 7:30am and by 4-5 they are still intact, if a little faded in the middle of the lips. I normally have a hot drink in the morning, fish and chips on a Friday afternoon and I’m continuously drinking water, snacking and talking throughout the day. So the fact that I can apply the provocalips and forget about them, because they’re so darn comfortable, yet glance in a mirror and see they are perfectly set and haven’t budged.... it is mindblowing! Whenever you hear about a long-lasting product you imagine it to be dry and crusty on the lips, but these apply very smoothly and the balm side goes a long way in giving it the moisturising/comfortable touch.

The application is great, standard doe-foot which are the perfect size for applying the liquid lipstick exactly where you need it. I’d recommend wiping a bit off when you open it because sometimes a little too much product can be applied. The pigmentation is also phenomenal, you just need one swipe! Once put on the lips, give it around 40 seconds to set and then go in with the white side, which is a slightly gooey balm. This stops the liquid lipstick for drying up and feeling tight on the lips, it adds moisture and sets it in place. Personally I like it to be less glossy, and I am just in love with how easy these are to get on with! The fact that they stay and stay and stay, with no rubbing off on teeth, no peeling, flaking is just incredible. It exceeded all my expectations, well done Rimmel!

 

If you’re looking for a long-lasting lip product, which isn’t horribly drying and which will not be disrupted by your food and drink, then check these beauties out! There are a range of shades, however I don’t think I’ll personally find anything that I get on better with than Make Your Move for every day! Researching swatches, I think the shade ‘Play with fire’ would make an amazing red lip for special occasions, especially because you don’t have to worry about it budging from where you placed it! ‘I’ll call you’ also looks like a pretty more natural alternative for an everyday lip colour ^_^

 

Final Verdict:

Product rating: 10
Pros: It is long lasting. This shade is gorgeous, a stunning brown toned nude which looks extremely classy. It isn’t drying like most long lasting products, you can wear it and forget about it, it’s just THAT comfortable! There are 8 shades to choose from, it lasts all day and stays defined without any lipliner.
Cons: It doesn’t quite last 16hours, but long enough for me to get through a day of Uni without worrying about it!
Repurchase? 100% These have totally exceeded my expectations and I know I’ll be repurchasing Make Your Move as soon as I start running out!

Requested | How I Wear Berry Lips (Eid Makeup)

Hello everybody!

Ages and ages ago I was asked to write a post on how I wear berry lips, and even though I had a vague idea on how I would - I had never actually worn them before! I’m very much a natural my-lips-but-better type of girl and so berry lips on me are something not done often at all! Having said that I’ve discovered that it IS fun to have a play with colour, and when my Eid outfit was such a neutral colour with a berry pop, I knew I had my chance!

The word ‘berry’ in the colour spectrum is a confusing one, because it can be interpreted as pink, purple, blue, maroon and anything inbetween! But I think they all fit under a similar category - more ‘out there/oh she’s made an effort!’ and I would probably wear each of those colours in a similar way. The main thing to remember though is its only makeup and there are no REAL rules. It’s your face so don’t be afraid to experiment :)

The Base

When thinking about wearing berry lips, you want the focus of your makeup to be ON the lips, and not so much the skin. So opt for a base that will provide you with decent coverage and a matte/satin finish. I normally like to bronze up my skin, but for berry lips, you want the lips to be the main standout not the rest of your face! So I do prefer to ditch the bronzer!

The cheeks

This is the important bit for me, a berry lip means sculpted cheekbones, but not with your average contour colour! You need to pick a matte berry shade, that will effectively sculpt out your cheekbones, whilst adding a beautiful blush of colour onto your skin. Sleek’s blush-by-3 in Pink Spirit is PERFECT for this!

Taking a duo-fibre brush (this won’t pick up too much product) tap it into the blush and apply just above where you would normally apply your contour. Because its a very bronze-free look, focusing more on a strong colour with contouring, highlight is optional. Personally I find that when using my Accessorise baked bronzer (reviewed here) I can highlight to my hearts content, because its so subtle but really does bring light to the face. On the other hand, if I’m using my Mary-Lou I have to go VERY lightly, but all in all, make sure the highlight doesn’t ‘take over the face’. Read: This is not the type of look that suits that disco ball look!

The Eyes

I found the perfect palette for my Eid/berry look was ‘the vintage romance palette’ by Sleek. It’s quite a dark and dramatic palette but its perfect for special occasions!

1. I took gold shade (3rd from left) all over the first half of the lid
2. Used the gorgeous matte burnt orange/brown in the crease as the transition shade.
3. I then took a little of the very dark purple eyeshadow (second from right bottom row) on a small detailer brush, in the outer V of the eyelid
4. and then I dipped a fluffy brush into the pink shade (second from the left) and blended it all over the crease so it merged with the burnt orange shade. It took a lot of blending to make the dark shadow quite faint as I didn’t want it too be too obvious. Just to add some definition.  
5. Taking that same pinkish shade mixed with a purple under the bottom lash-line with a detailer brush I added more of the pop of colour.
6. Finally I went over the gold shade again, and put it into my inner corner too.
7. I then lined my eyes with the 2tru black liquid liner, and coated my lashed with Benefit’s They’re Real - it was a celebration after all! (Clearly I’m rubbish at describing eye looks and steps D:)

The Lips

And finally the berry lips! Like I said you could interpret this in many ways, and for this outfit, the berry shade has strong pink undertones. Therefore I decided to apply my Wet ‘n’ Wild lipstick in Sugar Plum Fairy. This was the first time I wore one of these lippies for the whole day, and I have to say I am VERY impressed! Upon application it was soft and creamy but the lasting time was amazing! Although it is a darker pink, I wanted more of a purple/berry tone so I added Rimmel’s Lasting Finish lipstick in shade 04. This is the darkest and most vampy lipstick I own, and dabbed gently ontop of Sugar Plum Fairy it makes a fantastic berry lip! Edgy with the darkness, but still a little bright with the pink tone!

Requested | How I Wear Berry Lips (Eid Makeup)

Hello everybody!

Ages and ages ago I was asked to write a post on how I wear berry lips, and even though I had a vague idea on how I would - I had never actually worn them before! I’m very much a natural my-lips-but-better type of girl and so berry lips on me are something not done often at all! Having said that I’ve discovered that it IS fun to have a play with colour, and when my Eid outfit was such a neutral colour with a berry pop, I knew I had my chance!

Hello everybody, apologies for the lack of posts. A mixture between Ramadan lathargic-ness and feeling very deflated by the ongoing genocide in Palestine really hasn’t inspired me to blog. Anyway more on that in the update post.

Makeup Revolution is the new MUA brand of the internet. Its been raved about by so many beauty bloggers, around a month ago I couldn’t resist picking a few bits up myself! Instead of doing a haul, I’m just going to be posting reviews as and when I’m ready. I will say though that I’m not super happy with my swatches, and will try and rustle something up on the instagram to show you clearer swatches later on!

So starting with the packaging, you get what you pay for - you’re spending £1 so expect a lippie that could open in your bag, and isn’t the most sturdiest. They do the job however and for the price I really can’t complain. They do look very similar to MUA’s lipsticks, BUT I don’t think you can open the transparent part on the lid (please let me know if you can I’ve been trying so hard haha.) I do like the rose gold font however! It shows that the brand is on trend ^_^

The One- The palest colour lipstick in my whole collection, this will definitely give anyone with a warm skin-tone an ill look, however it is perfect for lightening-up any shade so I will be getting my moneys worth from this one! The texture is soft, and pretty pigmented, although it does have the tendency to sit in the fine lines on my lips, so again used alone this wouldn’t be the most flattering shade!

Treat - My favourite of the bunch! This is a gorgeous my lips but better shade MIXED with a touch of brown. Upon first application I instantly thought of the famous Kylie Jenner look just not matte! On reflection i wouldn’t say that this is the PERFECT shade if you’re going for her exact look, but the touch of brown adds a classy 90’s edge to any look and I honestly have had nothing else on my lips since I bought it! The formula again is fabulous, very moisturising and after 2 hours its still there as more of a stain which I quite like too! This is the only shade that I will be repurchasing in the future :)

Devine - The only matte lipstick I picked up, and I’m glad I didn’t venture into other shades. The formula is the standard drugstore matte type, a little difficult to apply and you do have to tug on the lips. The colour is quite a bright/loud coral and not as similar to the one in the bottom of the packaging! But annoyances aside this is a ok matte lippie, one I’ll probably try and mix with another shade to subdue it a little, but still wearable..just about.

Chic - This one I was the least prepared for because it has bit of glitter in it! NEVER something I go for ever (I mean maybe for a fancy dress?!) I prefer glitter on my eyelids for a special occasion, and so I wasn’t massively impressed with Chic. Having said that they aren’t as noticeable on the lips, and the colour itself is a nice neutral pink, but if you were having a conversation with someone face to face they probably WOULD notice the specs of glitter...at least the formula is fab!

So all in all fairly hit and miss I would say! But for £1 a lipstick, I have enjoyed my first introduction to Makeup Revolution’s lipstick selection, and if you head on over to their website you’ll discover they have an amazzzzzing range of colours to choose from! (Even blues and yellows!)

Review | Lord & Berry ASOS Exclusive Lip Colour Set

I recently picked up this set from ASOS and seeing as it’s even cheaper now (£11) I thought it would be a suitable time to review it ^_^
*EDIT: Just read that these are RRP £7.50 each!! SO THIS IS AN AMAZING BARGAIN*

Lord & Berry is a makeup brand that I’ve only seen on the internet, but I was drawn to it’s cute sleek packaging. I’ve also really started enjoying using lip-liners, either as an all over the lip matte or just to define my lips. Its a step a lot of people tend to skip, but can make a lot of difference.

I only own two or three lip liners from Rimmel, so this set is a great introduction to the brand aswell as a range of colours I hadn’t previously owned. I’m especially happy with the lightest and darkest shade, because a good neutral lip liner is invaluable and for a darker lip, lining and defining the lips is essential.

Prior to trying these out, I had the expectation that they would be a little drying as obviously they’re a pencil product. I’ve tried a cheap lipliner from Natural Collection which left much to be desired, and the Rimmel ones are lovely but lack a wide range of shades. So I was expecting a decent pigmentation, at least slightly creamy/easy to apply and also long lasting. They’re labelled ‘Kissproof’ and ‘waterproof’ so these expectations weren’t much to ask for.

My favourite, and the one that will undoubtedly get the most use blush is a beautiful neutral pink colour that matches my ‘go-to’ lip colour of choice perfectly. I tend to favour the nudish-pinks and this liner defines my lips beautifully, even when just wearing a gloss (this Barry M one or Bobbi Brown one). A little trick I’ve picked up is instead of applying this all around the lips, just line the top (cupid bow) and bottom middle part. This will make them appear fuller as it emphasises the fullest part of the lips. Blossom is a mauveish-bluish pink and again lovely for a slightly darker pink lip. I don’t have a great deal to say about it other than it’s a welcome addition to my sparse lipliner collection. Sienna is a red with a tinge of orange mixed into it. It’s a nice enough colour, not anything particularly special but I’m sure it’ll come in handy when doing a red lip. Finally my second favourite Black Red which is more of a purple and matches PERFECTLY with Rimmel’s lasting perfection lipstick in 04 (the vampy one). I think with any bold/dark lip a liner is essential and I can’t express how perfectly these two go together. Not that I’ll be reaching for this often, but it was an awkward bold colour to find the perfect liner for, so happy Lord&Berry have provided that for me ^_^

They're smooth and easy to apply. Not the MOST creamy but defo worth their combined price!
