Hey everybody, how are you all doing? I hope you’re all great ^_^ I wanted to bring this little end of the month thing back and stick to it this time. The main thing that held me back from doing this little round up in the past was the lack of relevant photos I’ve taken, but that’s not a good enough excuse anymore! Also I quite enjoy the ‘catchup’ thing instead.
Hello! Yet another lip product review for you today - this time a cheaper one that the likes of NARS! Rimmel’s lipsticks are fantastic, and the lasting finish range, by Kate Moss (£5.49) are some of the best in the whole drugstore. I own 5 from the range, but the one I haven’t been able to put down for several months is the shade 08. The packaging for this range is simple, sturdy and with Kate’s signature on the lid and the shade number and colour at the bottom of the lipstick.
Hey ladies! Today I’m going to be reviewing my first ever NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (£18) link. These pencils have so much hype online and they’re a cult product, plus its NARS so you can be sure I had high expectations! As usual I love the packaging, simple, functional and so very Narsissist with the colour at the end making it easy to distinguish from the rest (...that’ll be in my collection come May mwahahaa). Its a chubby pencil, comfortable to hold and not retractable - still need to buy their pencil sharpener, ehh.
Hello everyone, today I’m going to be reviewing an Illamasqua cream blush which is pretty scary looking in the pan, and it goes by the name of ‘Seduce’. If you’re a regular reader of my blog you will know that I swear by Illamasqua blushers, they are just WONDERFUL at doing them right... I own 6 of them and have no regrets, because I just love them! You can purchase this blush here for £21.50 (although I’d keep an eye out for their amazing sales).
Hey everybody, I hope you’re all well! I’m finally adding another post to one of my favourite series and today its focused on a cream bronzer and blusher duo. If you were to ask me to recommend you 5 products to pick up from E.L.F, this would be one of them. In the range there are at least two powder versions available, however both the bronzers contain shimmer and because of this I just wasn’t the biggest fan. This cream version however is in a whole new league of drugstore bronzers!
Hello everyone I hope you’re all doing well. Again I’m sorry for the delay with this month’s Birchbox, it came right in the middle of my stress week and I just didn’t have the time. Today however I’m ready to share to my thoughts and I think I’ll try to keep it as to the point as possible! If you want to know more about birchbox you can read another post on it here and the reward system post here. So anyway I was thrilled when I saw a little sneak peak of the January birchbox as the range of brands this month are awesome! The collaboration with Women’sHealth is just perfect for this month, the month where everyone gets a new year and hopefully a renewed feeling of determination and inspiration!
Hello! Today I’m going to be reviewing a liquid highlighter from quite a unknown brand in my opinion - mememe. I think the main reason why it’s not that heard of is because it’s not available anywhere else other than online.
This ‘illuminator and highlighter’ is packaged in a glass bottle and looks very similar to a nail polish bottle. The applicator of the highlighter is also just like a nail polish bottle, which makes it super easy to apply too.
Hello everyone I hope you’re all well, and I’m so sorry I’ve not been able to post on my blog for over 10 days :c but more on that in the Jan update post. Today I wanted to introduce another new ‘series’ type thing on The Blushing Giraffe ohhhh exciting! I’ve been so indecisive on what to call this, eventually deciding on ‘this or that’ but if I think of something better I’ll change it before I add another tile to my little side bar thing. Anyways, the idea behind this is pretty simple - take two similar(ish) products from my stash, compare, list out pros and cons and hopefully give you guys a good idea about which one YOU might prefer. It’s not necessarily about finding dupes, because as you can see by my first one, they’re two very different types of product for the same purpose. BUT if two things are actually dupes, then woohoo!
I love a good empties post. It’s a great way to share how you got on with a bunch of products and for readers they get a rounded picture of how it worked and whether it’s worth their monies. The reason I haven’t done one before is because firstly it seems to take a long long long time for me to finish a product, due to having a large collection of products and jumping back and forth between them! Secondly I tend to forget to keep my empties, and so to make this all work with my blog, without having a bunch of rubbish pile up, I’ve decided to post empties in threes. This way hopefully I’ll get at least 4 of these out annually ^_^
