Hello everyone, as March was a pretty dull month I’ve decided that this update post should be more of a requested one about my University course and experience so far. I took Psychology, English Literature and History for A-levels and to be honest with you sixth-form were the worst two years of my life so far. Really. Although having less timetabled hours was great, the level of work was incredibly stressful, a huge huge jump from GCSEs and there was SO much pressure that it took a lot of joy out of learning, instead making you end up despising the subjects, mornings and external students (well just one of them..ha)
Hello everyone! Today I am going to share with you the first part of my wet’n’wild lipstick collection - the brights and the bold shades. I order all of my American cosmetics from the site ‘beautyjoint.com’ and this line costs $2.75 per lipstick which translates to roughly £1.85 a lipstick - very budget friendly!
Hey guys, hope you’re all doing well. Today I have another three empty products to discuss with you, my part 1 is here and the reason why I split it into threes is because they’re much more manageable than collecting a whole basketful of essentially rubbish! Plus I get to ramble on a bit more ^_^
I was in desperate need of a skincare refresh, I tend to wait till I’ve finished two or three things and then go all out and pick up a bunch of products to try. Everything in this haul is new to me - very exciting stuff and it just so happened that boots had their wonderful 3for2 offer on so I placed a collect in store order - since I didn’t really have £50 to spend on skincare (and pay for delivery??? you’re having a laugh!).
Hello everybody, I hope you’re all doing well. Today I will be reviewing the Dior Backstage Blender sponge which I mentioned when I reviewed the Dior Skin Nude Foundation here. It is the best way to use that foundation in my experience and I am sure it will work just as beautifully with the Dior Skin Star as it was released alongside it. Now many of you were surprised that Dior had their own sponge and you will be even more surprised to find out that this sponge actually costs less than the beautyblender! From Boots £12 but you could get it for just over a tenner from here which is where I ordered mine from ^_^
Hello everyone! Today I’m going to be reviewing these jumbo pencils from Essence which I first featured in this haul. I purchased them from Wilko and they cost me £1.50 each - I know, INSANE! It was literally love at first swatch and for that price I could hardly say no could I??
Hey guys! A quick post today on my current most reached for lip products today. These three together have been my favourite ‘lip cocktail’ and they’ve been in my makeup bag for two months straight. Personally I dislike spending a lot of money on lip products, I think the drugstore is excellent in that department, so these are all affordable you’ll be pleased to know ^_^ I’ve been loving a brown/pinkish lip of late, but I also can’t resist a bit of mauve either, mixing it all up!
Hello everyone! Today I’m going to be reviewing my first ever Dior foundation. This is the lightest from the three in the ‘Diorskin’ range, suitably named the Diorskin Nude (£32.00). I picked this up on the whim actually when I saw a flash sale of 20% off, and I just couldn’t resist - darn you online shopping. It has SPF 15 and gives a light/medium coverage.
Hello! I today I’m going to add to my ‘hijab and jewels’ section of the blog, with reviews from two wonderful companies that are worth checking out ^_^
